Cool cast. That big server pvp in Guild Wars seems hot. The game looks really good and has some new features, but I just hope they don’t do the whole “make a pre-made 20 and jump in the game” like they did with the first.

In Oregon’s defense, Wretched lives in a BFE boonies area. Portland isn’t so bad. :p

    lol @ trackballs

Best cast ever, had me laughing in a lot of places. Poor old Yak,LOL and love the comment made by Wretched about Hello Kitty and the cat in the microwave. Amazing GW2 interview, love some of the ideas centred around the pvp. I try also not to read up on too much on agame before it’s release, makes it more fun that way when I first play it. Anyway, so looking forward to the next cast as they seem to get better and better. Good job guys.

Great show guys glad the interview at comic con can be heard now. Enjoyed it and lol I am so going to tease Yak about the Trackball hehe. I am still debating on whether or not the Lantern’s will be enough for me to check out DCU again my best bud is not feeling going back at all. But a chance to play a lantern on either side is very tempting. I am also looking forward to guild wars 2 hoping its fun though I really dont want to play something that can heals I was going to break from the norm I do in most games and be a complete dps or tank type being able to heal myself takes my ebil plans of making others babysit my health away :/ lol. Either way keep up the great casts i’ll be tuning in.

Thanks for all the encouragement. We hope to improve as we go. We think of this project as a coop between all of us like minded gamers. Join us on the forums and let me know if anyone is interested in Writing articles or joining us on a future cast.

At the 45 minute mark and I fucking loved the GW2 interview! Great fucking job! I am even looking more forward to this MMO. I love how you are not locked into a type of play style. I love no dedicated healer, as most people suck at healing and better to have to work as a team, then rely on a person. Remember, they are breaking the mold from the normal boring MMO and I am glad. By the why fuck EQ, that’s old hat.

Played Fallen Earth for 30 minutes and really trying to force my self to play the game. I hate how it feels like a flash point and click. Meaning when I fire a gun there is no recoil. This is not realist, I see the same problem with Hell Gate. You can just keep shooting and kiting until you run out of ammo. I will give this game more of a chance.

@Coolit Just to make you happy, as I can’t find the other post. I will never, ever, ever, ever play Planet Side 2, no matter how high the type is. I will not get screwed over by another Sony game. SOE = Screw Over Everyone!

You are not going to get the butt hurt reaction about the trackball that you hoped for. I just want to clear some things up, that we talked about in Team Speak. I never said that I kept dying. I said that it can be hard to get a good group of players in Killing Floor, as the game is hard. It’s not hard because I use a fucking trackball. Look, just like I can’t understand why you would use a mouse with 12 buttons on it, is the same reason you don’t understand why I love my track ball. I use the Logitech trackball, that I control the ball with my thumb. Just because the trackball doesn’t work for you, doesn’t mean there is no way you can use it for gaming. One last thing, no company is perfect. No other company has fucked over the player base, more then Sony has. Some one we need to cast about all this shit.

I knew you wouldn’t get butt hurt over the track ball thing, that’s why we brought it up. It’s still a fun area of debate for me because there is no way you can do as much with a track ball as you can with a mouse. What we should do is find a game nether of us have played and practice for one week then have a showdown. Trackball v. Naga. What do you think?

@Coolit, Hells yeah Bro! You need to rephrase this, “There is no way you can do as much with a track ball as you can with a mouse.” to here is no way I CAN do as much with a track ball as you can with a mouse. ”
The thing I want you to understand is that less = more. Yes, we need to cast and have an epic debate about it!

I have always loved covers and remixes. I have a crazy music collection and it continues to grow. I am also part of a music user group that kicks ass. Email me and I will share.

It was a good cast, per usual. And @Yak, when was the last time SOE screwed you over? I don’t even think PS2 has a sub fee if I remember correctly, if it’s fun for 2-6 months and then they fuck it over, where’s the loss?

If anyone is screwing anyone over anyone recently, it’s Blizzard. :)

I just fired up Fallen Earth for the first time myself a few weeks ago. I am really in love with the game. and it has definitely turned into my staple side game to Eve Online.

Hey now, I use a trackball and I dominate rodents all the time. I guess if you want to macro you could use a mouse with 100 buttons on it, but I just use the number keys. It took me a while to get used to it, but now the mouse feels unwieldy and slow.

I’ve given Earthrise a few tries, but it just isn’t clicking with me. The interface for using skills seems random (will the ability go off or won’t it) and while the world has some cool areas, it is pretty empty.

I think it might be better with a smaller world and thus higher population density. Too much running around with nothing to do.

Exactly! Real men use track balls!
